A fore-runner in setting up international luxury lifestyle brands in India, he was the Country Head, India & Saarc for the iconic brand Montblanc. In his pursuit to establish International Luxury Lifestyle brands as a segment in India, he further launched iconic brands of the likes of Canali, Burberry. Baccarat, Acqua di Parma, Wedgwood, Harry Winston and Girard Perregaux. With an in-depth understanding of 'Luxury' as a segment, Vishal has undergone trainings at world class luxury academies like the ‘Montblanc Academy’,Hamburg with merit certifications.
With his passion for luxury, Vishal has the distinction of establishing international luxury lifestyle brands in India from inception and has successfully created a market for these brands through multiple marketing and sales channels by setting up exclusive boutiques in premium five star hotel chains across the major metropolitans and also by developing alternative channels of sales and distribution through shop-in-shops with premium jewellers and high end retailers.
As a key luxury marketing professional, Vishal was invited by the management at Parker to reposition the Parker Premium brand and launch Waterman in India as the Head of Luxury Business. In addition, he has a wide exposure of working with top Indian conglomerates like Tata Tea Ltd and has had stints in heading the largest garment outsourcing buying house in Mumbai catering to renowned international clothing chains like Primark, Macy’s, Next and more.
With a keen interest in international legacy brands, the last stint of his career was with India Sotheby’s International Realty as a Global Real Estate advisor for super prime residential homes based out of New Delhi.
